At Early Years Resources we have worked hard to source and develop a range of primary history teaching resources that will make the teaching of history interesting and enjoyable. It is important for children to gain an understanding of what life was like in the past, and to be encouraged to consider the similarities and differences in people’s lifestyles and experiences.
Our range of primary history teaching resources includes replica historical artefacts of toys and games, history books, photo packs and historical costumes.
The KS1 history topics covered by our primary history teaching resources are Toys from the Past, Seaside Holidays in the Past, Homes in the Past, the Great Fire of London, Mary Seacole and Florence Nightingale.
